Card Services
As our digital channels continue to evolve, we aim to provide you with a seamless banking experience, where you can carry out your banking transactions with ease and enhanced security.
Some of our services are transitioning away from post, courier, or email requests, to give you the peace of mind that only you can have access to your account(s). These services are available through our digital channels, where you can request for them instantly, and get your transaction carried out faster.
Starting 1 November, 2020, the following services will only be available through the listed channels:
Service | Channel |
---|---|
Funds Transfers | Citi Online, Citi Mobile® App, Branch |
Book Time Deposit | Citi Online, Branch |
Draft Issuance | Citi Online, Branch |
Account Maintenance and Debit Card requests | Citi Online, Citi Mobile® App, Branch, Citiphone |
Starting from July 15, 2019, we will no longer be sending out paper statements. Instead, we will send you monthly e-statement reminders that you can view on Citi Mobile or Citi Online. This is not only better for our environment but is also more convenient & safer for you. Click here to find out more.
*Currently, only Credit Card Statements are accessible through Citi Mobile. You can always access your Banking Statement through Citi Online.
Citi are bound by the regulations of the UAE Central Bank to ensure that all Current Account holders with Citi UAE are current residents of UAE. To meet this obligation, we request for valid EID from all account holders. Click here to find out more.
What is "Phishing"?
"Phishing" is an internet scam whereby fraudsters send emails with the intention to collect critical personal and financial information. These "phishing" emails look genuine and appear to be coming from a legitimate bank. They always contain a link to a "spoofed" website asking you to provide an update to, or confirm, sensitive personal information and/or have a warning stating that your card/account has been suspended and that you need to click a 'secure' link to activate or restore your card/account.

Under these sanctions, Citibank N.A. is/will be prohibited from engaging in transactions that may fall within the guidelines of the sanctions and is compelled to reject such transactions and block the related funds.
Dear Customer,
Thank you for being a valued client.
Amid ongoing concerns about the Coronavirus COVID-19, Citi is closely monitoring the latest reports from the Local Health Authority and has taken a number of precautionary measures for the health and safety of our customers and colleagues.
I wanted to personally reach out and share a few of the ways we are here to serve you, our customer, during this time:
We encourage you to access your accounts from home 24/7 using Citi Online or the Citi Mobile App to check balances and statements, make bill payments, transfer funds, or find the nearest ATM. We've made a number of enhancements that make it easier than ever to manage your account digitally, such as the Citi Mobile token so you can easily make secure transactions anywhere. Watch out for scams related to Covid-19. Stay alert, and check out the detailed tips on our security page.
Our branch teams are available to serve you, as always. We’ve augmented daily cleaning procedures with the use of stronger disinfectant products on high-touch surfaces, have made hand sanitizers readily available, and are educating branch teams on best practices recommended by the Local Health Authority.
Should you need our support, we’re here to help. To simplify your banking needs, kindly note the following:
For Retail Customers: We have made fund transfers free via our mobile app. This is effective till Thursday, 30 April 2020. Instead of visiting a branch or ATM to withdraw money or request a transfer, we encourage you to complete your local transfers from the convenience of your home.
For Credit Card customers: You don’t need to visit a Citi ATM or Branch to pay your credit card bill. You can easily pay anytime, anywhere using your laptop or smartphone from your Citibank Account or even from your non-Citibank Account. Click here for easy instructions on how to pay.
We won’t stop here, we are also donating 0.5% of all debit card spends in the month of March to help with the efforts to combat COVID-19.
We will continue to closely monitor the situation and evaluate additional measures to support our customers and communities as needs arise.
If you find the need to speak to us, just login to Citi Online and 'Write to us'.
Citi is at your side when you need us most.
Best Regards,
Dinesh Sharma
