You can access Citibank Global Transfers in 2 easy steps:

• Click here(opens in a new tab) to sign on to Citibank Online.
• Once you have successfully signed on go to Payments & Transfers tab and Make a Payment or Transfer.

You will have to first add the recipient as a 'Payee' on Citibank Online before you initiate a Citibank Global Transfer. This will have to be done only the first time for each recipient.

To add a payee go to the 'Payments & Transfers' tab and then click on "Manage Payees" link and click on 'Add a Payee' and select Payee Type "Global Personal Citibank Account". Select the payee's destination country and enter the payees Citibank account number in that country. Please ensure you enter the account number correctly.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The system will only validate that the Citibank account number entered is valid in the destination country that the customer selects. It will not validate that the account is in the name of person identified as the payee.

Once you have added the recipient as a payee all you need to do is select the payee from the payee list whilst initiating a Citibank Global Transfer.

Once the transfer has been processed, the system will display a confirmation of the transaction. The confirmation will include the new balance for the originating account, the transfer and fee amount, the destination account and country, and the reference number for the transfer. To view or print out a record of the transfer, please click on the "View Record" link.
