How to Open a CitiBest USD Account?
If you are a new customer, based on the relationship that you are looking for, please follow the below steps:
- If you'd like to maintain a balance below USD 200,000 please visit one of our branches with the required documents and a Citi Representative will assist you in opening your account. To view the list of documents that are required, please click here.
- If you are looking to maintain a balance above USD 200,000, you may be eligible for a Citigold or Citi Private Client account that caters exclusively to your wealth management needs. Please click here to fill a short application form, a Citi Representative will get in touch within 24 hours to assess your financial needs and assist you in account opening.

If you wish to open a CitiBest Account, you can visit any of our branches near you and submit the required documents. Please check them below by nationality.
UAE Nationals and GCC Nationals with UAE Residency
- Emirates ID
- Passport copy OR any one of the below:
- Valid UAE Driving license
- Online Labour Card Copy – online copies are acceptable
- UAE Utility Bill issued within last 3 months
- Valid Free zone Employment Card copy / Employment card copy issued by Local or Federal Government
- Bank Statement (issued within last 3 months)
- Current Tenancy Contract copy / Ejari copy (showing local address) or a title deed (in the name of the prospect)
Other nationals with UAE Residency
- Emirates ID
- Passport copy
- Valid UAE Visa OR any one of the below:
- Valid UAE Driving license
- Online Labour Card Copy – online copies are acceptable
- UAE Utility Bill issued within last 3 months

The Interest is calculated regularly at the end of the day and the total accrued interest amount is added to the account on a monthly basis.
